Üniversite Ögrencilerinde Ahlaki Davranışın Empatik Eğilim ve Kendini Ayarlama Açısından İncelenmesi

Bu arastırmanın amacı üniversite ögrencilerinde ahlaki davranısın empatik egilim ve kendini ayarlama açısından incelemektir. Pamukkale Üniversitesi Egitim Fakültesinden örneklem tesadüfi olarak 636 (Kız:373, % 57;Erkek:273, % 43) ögrenci olarak belirlendi. Üç farklı ölçek kullanılmıstır. Etik Davranısı Degerlendirme Ölçegi (Hogan, 1973; Blasi, 1980) ahlaki davranısı ölçmek için kullanılmıstır. Empatik Egilim Ölçegi (Dökmen, 1988) empatik egilimi belirlemek için kullanılmıstır. Kendini Ayarlama Ölçegi (Synder, 1974) sosyal ortamlarda bireyin davranıslarını ayarlama düzeyini ölçmek için kullanılmıstır. Bulgular kisisel ahlaki karakterin empatik egilim ölçegi ve bölüm degiskenleri ile anlamlı olarak yordanırken, sözel ahlaki giriskenlik empatik egilim ve dısa dönüklük ile anlamlı olarak yordanmıstır.

Investigating Moral Behaviors 0f College Students With Respect To Empathic Tendency and Self- Monitoring

The purpose of this study was to investigate the moral behavior of university students with respect to empathic tendency and self-monitoring. 636 (female:373, 57 %; male: 273, 43 %) students of the Faculty of Education in Pamukkale University were randomly selected for this study. Three different scales were used. The Ethics Behavior Rating Scale (Hogan, 1973; Blasi, 1980) was utilized for measuring the moral behavior. The Empathic Tendency Scale (Dökmen, 1988) was administered for measuring the empathic tendency. The Self-Monitoring Scale (Synder, 1974) was used for measuring the monitoring level of their behaviors in social conditions. The analysis of data showed that personal moral character was predicted by the Empathic Tendency Scale and department, and that verbal moral assertiveness was also predicted by empatic tendency and extraversion subscale of The Self-Monitoring. Results have been discussed in the light of literature.
