Tarihsel süreç içerisinde kader konusu tam olarak bilinememe özelliği ile insanların zihnini meşgul eden bir husus olmuştur. Ancak yine de insanlar, hem bu kavram hem de kavramla ilgili olan bazı konular üzerinde düşünmekten ve tartışmaktan uzak durmamışlardır. Bu durum, diğer toplumlarda olduğu gibi, İslam toplumları için de geçerliliğini korumuştur. İslam’ın erken dönemlerinde kaderle ilgili olarak yapılan fikir yürütmeler değişik ekoller tarafından da ele alınmıştır. Ancak bugünün dünyasında insanlar, söz konusu ekollerin düşünce yapısı içerisinde hem çağın getirdiği bazı soru ve sorunlara çözüm bulmak için zorlanmakta hem de bu ekollerin kaderle ilgili ileri sürdüklerini eksik veya yanlış anlayabilmektedirler. Aslında bu durumun ortaya çıkmasında aradan geçen asırlarla birlikte dünyada meydana gelen değişimlerin de etkisi büyüktür. İşte bu makalenin amacı, hem zamanla birlikte dünyadaki değişimlerle gelen ve kaderle de ilgisi olan bazı soru ve sorunlara cevap üretmeye çalışmak hem de bu konuyla bağlantılı olarak yanlış anlaşıldığı düşünülen bazı hususları ele alıp değerlendirmektir.  

In historical process, fate has been a fully subject for people’s minds with its exactly unknown feature. Nevertheless, people has never stayed away from thinking or discussing issues related both to this concept or matters about this concept.  This case, as in other societies, it has maintained its relevance for the  Islamic societies. In the early period of Islam, the reasoning about fate had been under debate by different schools.  However, people of  today's world, in thought structure of these schools, people are strained to find answers for the contemporary issues and they can misunderstand or  they can’t understand exactly what these schools said about fate. In fact, as the centuries go by, the changes all over the world have a great effect about the emerge of this issue. The purpose of this article is to try to produce  answers to some questions and issues about fate  that occur in time and with the changes over the world and to take over some issues that is considered to be misunderstood about this subject.
