Children's Self-Efficacy For After-School Physical Activity in Different School Contexts

The purpose of this study was to examine the middle school students' physical activity self-efficacy, staff and parent efficacy perceptions for after-school physical activity by school context and gender. Participants were 430 middle school students (nfemale =224 and nmale = 206) from two different school contexts, one with poor (School A) and the other with rich (School B) physical activity opportunities in the neighborhood. According to the Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANOVA) results showed that significant difference in favor of School B, Wilks' Lambda = 94, F(3, 424) = 9.80, p
