EFQM Mükemmellik Modeli Girdi Kriterlerinin Yenileşim Performansı ve Kurumsal Performansa Etkisi ile Kurum Kültürünün Düzenleyici Rolü Üzerine Bir Araştırma

EFQM mükemmellik modeli günümüzde örgütlerin üstün performans hedeflerine erişmesini sağlayacak en iyi stratejik araçlarından biri olarak kabul edilebilir. EFQM mükemmellik modeli aynı zamanda örgütlerin sürdürülebilir bir yenilik anlayışı ile uzun vadede müşteriler, çalışanlar, tedarikçiler ve toplum gibi tüm paydaşlarının giderek artan ve çeşitlenen beklentilerine cevap verebilmesinde önemli bir yol gösterici rol oynamaktadır. Bu çalışmanın temel amacı, EFQM mükemmellik modelini benimseyerek uygulayan örgütlerde, modelin bağımsız değişkeni olan girdi kriterlerinin (liderlik, çalışanlar, strateji, işbirlikleri ve kaynaklar ile süreçler, ürünler ve hizmetler) bağımlı değişkenleri olan kurumsal ve yenileşim performanslarına olan olası etkisini test edebilmektir. Aynı zamanda örgütlerde bilinçli stratejik çabalarla oluşturulan kalite odaklı kurum kültürünün EFQM modeli girdi kriterlerinin yenileşim performansı ve kurumsal performansa olan etkisinde düzenleyici bir role sahip olabileceği öngörülmektedir. Çalışma kapsamında Türkiye’de özel sektörde faaliyet gösteren orta ve büyük ölçekli işletmelerde farklı pozisyonel düzeylerde görev yapmakta olan 402 özel sektör yöneticisi ile anket çalışması gerçekleştirilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgulara göre, EFQM mükemmellik modeli girdi kriterlerinin yenileşim performansı ve kurumsal performans üzerinde pozitif yönlü etkisinin varlığı tespit edilmiştir. Kurum kültürü değişkenin ise bu etkide düzenleyici rolünün varlığı kabul edilmiştir. Alan yazın incelendiğinde, EFQM mükemmellik modeli girdi kriterlerinin yenileşim performansı ve kurumsal performansa etkisi ile kurum kültürünün bu etkide düzenleyici rolünü inceleyen bütünleşik bir modele rastlanmamıştır. Bu yönüyle araştırmanın bilimsel literatüre ve yönetimsel gelişmelere anlamlı katkı sağlayabileceği düşünülmektedir.

A Research on the Effect of the EFQM Excellence Model Enablers on Innovation Performance and Corporate Performance with Moderator Role of Organizational Culture

Today, the EFQM excellence model can accepted as one of the best strategic tools for organizations to reach the high-performance goals. The EFQM excellence model also plays an important role in helping organizations respond to the ever-increasing and diversifying expectations of all stakeholders such as customers, employees, suppliers and society in the long run, with a sustainable innovation approach. The main purpose of this study is testing the probable impact of the enablers (leadership, employees, strategy, collaborations and resources, processes, products and services) which are the independent variables of the model on the organizational and innovation performances which are the dependent variables, in organizations that adopt and implement the EFQM excellence model. At the same time, it is foreseen that quality-oriented organizational culture created with conscious strategic efforts in organizations can have a moderator role in EFQM excellence model enablers on the innovation performance and organizational performance. Within the scope of the study, survey was conducted with 402 private sector managers working at different positional levels in medium and large-scale enterprises operating in the private sector in Turkey. According to the findings, it has been determined that the EFQM excellence model enablers have a positive effect on innovation performance and corporate performance. The organizational culture variable has been accepted to have a moderator role in this effect. When the literature is examined, no integrated model has been found that research the effect of the EFQM excellence model enablers on innovation performance and corporate performance, as well as the role of organizational culture in this effect. In this respect, it can be thought that the research can make a significant contribution to the scientific literature and managerial developments.
