Facebook Nasıl “Meta”laştı?

Bu yazı, iki gelişmeye odaklanmaktadır. Bunlardan birincisi Facebook’un isim değişikliği; ikincisi ise Facebook’un yani yeni adıyla Meta’nın metaverse’ü. Öncelikle Facebook’un neden isim değişikliğine gittiği tartışılmakta. Şirket, isim değişikliği için çeşitli nedenler sunsa da başka sebeplerin neler olabileceği değerlendirilmekte. Daha sonra ise bir süredir gündemde olan metaverse kavramına odaklanılmakta. Ancak bu değerlendirme yazısında odaklanılan metaverse, Meta’nın yaratmaya çalıştığı evren ile sınırlandırılmıştır.
