Bu çalışmanın amacı farklı büyüklüklerdeki oositlerin maturasyonu üzerine insülin benzeri büyüme faktörü-1’in etkisinin araştırılmasıdır. Çalışmada 360 adet A kalite oosit kullanılmıştır. Çalışma materyali; Grup I uygulama (%50 ng/ml IGF-1), Grup II kontrol grubu olmak üzere 2 gruba ayrılmış ve her grup oosit çaplarına göre 3 alt gruba ayrılmıştır. Grup I’de TCM-199 vasatına 50ng/ml IGF-1 eklemiş, kontrol grubuna ek fakör eklenmemiştir. Oosit çapı gözetmeksizin Grup I’de %73,33, kontrol grubunda %63,33 maturasyon oranları elde edilmiş ve gruplar arasındaki fark önemli bulunmuştur (p0,001) oosit çaplarına göre gruplar arasında, grup ve alt gruplar arasında maturasyon yüzde oranlarında bir artış saptanmış ise de fark istatistiksel açıdan önemsiz bulunmuştur. Çalışma sonunda maturasyon vasatına eklenen IGF-1’in maturasyon oranını arttırdığı kanısına varılmıştır

The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of insulin like growth factor-1 (IGF1) on different sized bovine oocytes. In this study 360 A quality oocytes were used. Main groups were divided into 2 groups; Group I and Group II (control) and each group was divided into 3 subgroups according to the oocyte size. In Group I 50 ng/ml IGF-1 was added and in control group no growth factor was added. Excluding the oocyte diameter, rates in were observed as in Group I 73,33 % and in Group II, 63,33%. The difference between maturation rates were found statistically significant (p 0,001). However, induced maturation rates were observed both in between main groups and subgroups according to the oocyte diameters, statistically no difference was observed. In the end of the study, we concluded that the addition of IGF-1 to the maturation mediums, was induced the maturation rates.
