For determining the effect of daily application of Crataegus oxyacantha on the values of ECG in rats, a total of 32 healthy rats 16 of which were female and 16 male were used. 4 groups that were randomized and had the same number of male and female rats were formed. The 1st group was determined to be the control group, the 2nd group 25 mg/kg, the 3rd group 50 mg/kg, and the 4th group 100 mg/kg were determined to have been orally given Crataegus oxyacantha extract. In order to determine ECG findings, the duration and amplitudes of the waves were evaluated in the II. derivation and the average electrical axis of the heart was evaluated in the I. and III. derivations. Accordingly, the difference between QT (sn) and QTc (sn) values was found to be meaningful in terms of groups, and QRS (sn), R-R (sn) and heart-beat number (heart-beat/per minute) values, however, were found to be meaningful both in terms of the groups and the genders.
