Van ve yöresinde ineklerde östürüsün pratik tespiti ve sun'i tohumlama üzerine araştırmalar

Bu çalışma Yüzüncü Yıl Üniversitesi, Veteriner Fakültesi Kliniğine ve Tarım İl Müdürlüğüne sun'i tohumlama isteği ile getirilen 2-5 yaşları arasında, reproduktif sorunu bulunmayan, 3 kezden daha fazla tohumlanmayan 254 inek ve düve üzerinde gerçekleştirildi. Bu çalışmada, Van ve yöresindeki hayvan sahipleri tarafından östrüste oldukları sanılarak sun'i tohumlama isteğiyle getirilen düve ve ineklerin en uygun tohumlama zamanının tespiti, sun’i tohumlamanın başarısını etkileyebilecek bazı faktörlerin ortaya konması ve östrüs tespitinde kullanılan kimi yöntemlerin etkinliğinin belirlenmesi amaçlandı. Hayvanlar üç gruba bölündü. Birinci grup ineklerden, 5ml süt alınarak soğuk zincir içerisinde labaratuvara gönderildi ve progesteron değerleri belirlendi. İkinci grup ineklerin, vaginal muayene ve rektal muayene uygulanarak östrüsleri araştırıldı. Üçüncü grup inekler östrüsleri araştırılmaksızın tohumlandı. Bütün inekler tohumlandıktan 2-3 ay sonra gebelik muayeneleri yapıldı. Çalışmada, sun'i tohumlama isteği ile getirilen ineklerin östrüslerinin en etkili vaginal ve rektal muayene yöntemiyle tespit edilebileceği sonucuna varıldı. Ayrıca, Van ve yöresnideki yetiştiricilerin %44.40'ınm östrüsü zamanında tespit edemediği belirlendi. Birinci grupta %36.32, 2. grupta %48.97, 3. grupla %19.40 gebelik elde edildi

Studies on artificial insamination and pratically determining the estrous of cattle in Van regioıı

The present study was performed on 254 cows and heifers aged between 2 and 5 which had no reproductive problems and hadn't been inseminated more than three times before. These animals mentioned were brought to the clinics of Animal Hospital of the Yuzuncu Yil University and Van Agriculture Ministry for Artificial insemination. In the present study, ıt was aimed to determine the best artificial insemination time, in heifers and cows thought to be in estrous brought and for artificial insemination by the animal owners. It was also aimed to determine some factors that affect artificial insemination succees. Effectiveness of some methods that aimed to determine estrous were also investigated. The animals were divided into three groups. Five ml of milk samples were taken from the first group of animals. Milk samples immediately sent to the laboratory in cold chain for to detect progesterone levels. Presence of oestrus were investigated in the second group of animals through vaginal and rectal examination. The third group of animals were artifıcially inseminated without invensting estrous status. Animals in ali groups were artifıcially inseminated and examined in terms of pragnancy 2-3 months after the insemination. Results in the present study showed that, detection of estrous of the animals brought for artificial insemination, were the best when the animals examined through vaginally and rectally. İt was also observed that, about 44.40 % of animal owners missed the estrous in time. Pregnancy rates in the present study, after artificial insemination were 36.36% in first group, 48.97% in second group and 19.40% in third group
