Kedilerin Zoonotik Hastalıkları

Kedi zoonozlarının çoğu, Veteriner sağlık personelinin kedilerle direkt teması sonucunda ya da hastalıkların bulaşma kaynağı olan salgı ve dokularla temasta bulunan kişilerde görülür. Çeşitli bakteri, virüs, mantar, parazit ve protozoonlar kedilerden insanlara geçerek önemli hastalıklara neden olabilmektedir. Kedi sahipleri ve Veteriner sağlık personeli bu etkenlere karşı büyük bir risk altındadır. Bu derlemede, kedilerden insanlara geçebilen hastalıklar hakkında ayrıntılı bilgi verilmesi yanında, bazı hastalıkların Feline immunodeficiency virus FIV ve Feline leukemia virus FeLV ile ilişkileri de tartışılmıştır

Many of the feline zooneses frequently occur in üeterinary health persorınel otving to the direct contact uıith cats or due to exposure to infected body tissue or fluids. Various bacteria, uiruses, fungal agents, parasites and protozoans from cats may cause significant diseases in humans.
