COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF THE WEB SITES OF THE HEALTH CEN- TERS IN MEDITERRANEAN REGION

In this study, we tried to make the comparative analysis of information sufficiencies about the web sites of 152 health centers within public, private and province. We observed that these websites contain enough information including these; appointment systems, personal information of the doctors and operations about viewing the results of labaratory. We saw that these websites are not sufficient about ''information about foreign patients, virtual tours, consultant doctor information, online newspaper, online magazine, the languages except Turkish and information'' for patients. In comparament of public and private health centers, we observed that websites of public health centers, contain sufficient information about updated issues about the institution, list of the services, appointment processes and laboratory results. We also observed that websites of private health centers contain sufficient information about hospital logo, list of the services, mission-vision statements, doctors information, appointment processes and contracted firms. We've observed that the websites of the health centers in Mediterranean region are sufficient about basic informations and not sufficient about the issues which make different. The instutions which expect to brand the health center and earn more money with new customers, have to care more about the websites
