Gündelik hayatta yaptırım gücü yüksek olan sosyal normlardan biri de töredir. Toplumsal hayatı düzenlemek, kolaylaştırmak adına konulan kurallar bütünü olan töre, medya aracılığıyla dizi ve filmlerde tek boyutlu olarak genellikle namus, cinayet kavramları ile özdeşleştirilerek sunulmaktadır. Medyatik Töre Türk Töresinden Medya Töresine adlı bu çalışmada töre kavramında meydana gelen bu değişimi ve sebepleri dizi ve film örnekleri üzerinden incelenmiştir.

Töre is one of the social norm (customs) with high sanction power in everyday life. Töre which is a set of rules that regulate and facilitate social life is presented through the media in series and movies in one-dimensional way usually associated with the concepts of honor and murder. This work titled Medyatik Töre Türk Töresinden Medya Töresine has been examined through the examples of Tv series and movies about this change and its reasons.
