ZIHINSEL ENGELLI ÇOCUKLARIN BÜYÜK KAS MOTOR BECERİLERİNİN DESTEKLENMESİ

Bu çalışma, fiziksel eğitim programlarının okulöncesi dönemdekizihinsel engelli çocukların büyük kas motor becerileri üzerindekietkisinin araştırılması amacıyla yapılmıştır. Çalışmaya 7’si kız 5 erkekolmak üzere 3-6 yaşlar arasındaki 12 zihinsel engelli çocuk katılmıştır.Öntest-eğitim-sontest tasarımında düzenlenen çalışmada çocuklarayürüme, koşma, sıçrama gibi farklı beceri alanlarında eğitim verilmiştir.Çalışma sonucunda öntest ve sontest sonuçları arasında anlamlı birfarklılık tespit edilmiş ve bu çocuklarda fiziksel eğitimin büyük kasmotor becerileri desteklediği sonucuna varılmıştır

This study is performed to see the effects of physical training on thegross motor skills of the children with mental retardation. This studyperformed on 7 girls and 5 boys with mental retardation between theages of 3-6 years. The study is performed in a pretest-training-posttestdesign. The sample children were given a training program includingwalking, running, jumping etc. skills. As a result it was seen that therewere a significant differences between pretest and posttest results. Itwas concluded that physical training supports gross motordevelopment of mentally handicapped children
