Edebiyatın toplumla ilişkisi yadsınamaz bir gerçektir. Özellikle 20. yüzyıldaki edebî ürünlere baktığımızda, çağdaş yazarların toplumlarını sorgulamaya giriştikleri görülür. Bunun sonucunda edebî eserlerde toplum yaşamı geniş yer bulur. Böylece sosyoloji bilimi edebiyatı inceleme alanına dâhil etmiştir ve edebiyat sosyolojisi alanı ortaya çıkmıştır. Marks ve Georg Lukacs’tan beslenen edebiyatın sosyolojisi ile ilişkisini Lucien Goldmann, disiplinlerarası bir kuram ile sistematikleştirmiştir. Lucien Goldmann, edebî eseri bir bütün olarak ele alır. Goldmann’ın romanı ele almasının sebepleri vardır. Gerek batı edebiyatlarında gerek doğu edebiyatlarında roman destan geleneğinden doğmuştur. Diğer türlere nazaran roman, toplumun aynası olabilme özelliğini destan geleneğinden almıştır. Romanın hacimsel olarak da buna imkânı vardır. Romanı oluşturan her bir alt başlık birbirinden bağımsız değildir ve toplumsal bir yönü olmalıdır. Buna, sanat için sanat fikriyle oluşturulan eserler de dâhildir. Hiç şüphesiz ki, özgünlüğü yakalamış her eserin bir çıkış öyküsü vardır. Burası edebiyat sosyolojisinin çalışma alanına girmektedir. Bu çalışmada Özbek edebiyatının dünyaya açılan penceresi Odil Yoqubov’un Adalet Menzili adlı romanı Goldmann’ın oluşumsal yapısalcı metoduna göre incelenecektir. Adalet Menzili, Özbek halkının folklorik ögelerini, sıkıntılarını yansıtması bakımından oldukça önemli bir eserdir. Bir bütünsellik içinde ele alınacak bu nadide eserin pek çok dile çevrilmesinin sebepleri irdelenip satır aralarında Özbek toplumunun dinamiklerine ulaşılmaya çalışılacaktır.

The relationship and interaction between literature and society is an incostestable reality. When we have a look at especially the works of the twentieth century, it can be clearly seen that the contemporary writers attempt to question their own society. As a result of this, the life of the society takes a wide place in the literary works. Integrating the literature to its field sociology led to the existence of sociology of the literature. Lucien Goldmann has systematized the relation to the sociology of literature fed from Marx and Georg Lukacs with an interdisciplinary theory. Lucien Goldmann deals with the novel as a whole. There are several reasons for why Goldmann deals with the novel in this way. In both western and eastern literature, the novel derived from epic tradition. When compared to other genres, the novel took its quality that it is a mirror for reflection the realities of the society, from epic tradition.The novel has a structural potential for that. Each sub-title forming the novel is not seperated from one another. The novel should have a social aspect. The novels written by the idea ‘art for art's sake’ are also included. Undoubtly, each work catches the authenticity, has a story for its appearence behind. So, this is a study field of sociology of the literature. In this study, the work called ‘The Adalet Menzili of Adil Yakubov who is the window to the world of Uzbek literature will be examined with regard to formative structuralist method of Goldmann. The Adalet Menzili is a significant work that reflects the folkloric elements and the problems of Uzbek nation. The reasons of translation of this precious work into many languages will be studied in a holistic manner. The dynamics of Uzbek society will be tried to reach in line spaces.
