Günümüze gelene kadar Türkler farklı toplumlarla birlikte yaşamış, bulunmuşlardır. Bilhassa İslâm dininin kabulü ile birlikte dilde birtakım kelime alışverişleri olduğu görülmektedir. İşte bu durumdan yola çıkarak çalışmamızda Harezm Türkçesinin önemli eserlerinden olan Nehcü'l-Ferâdîs'in dil-kültür ilişkisinde durumu hakkında bilgiler verilmek istenmiştir. Nehcü'l-Ferâdîs Türk dili tarihi içinde önemli bir yere sahiptir. Gerek dili gerek bağlı bulunduğu asır içinde Türk dilinin Orta Devrini yansıtmaktadır. Ayrıca eserde kullanılan kelimelerin bir kısmı günümüz Türk dillerinde de kullanılmaktadır. Bu sebeple kuşaktan kuşağa aktarılan kültürde dil unsurlarının bir kısmı korunup günümüze kadar gelmiştir. Aslında bunda dil, hem doğrudan doğruya millî kültürün bir parçası hem de bir başka kültür unsurunun aracıdır. Durum böyle olunca edebî eseri oluştururken seçilen dil de yazarın/şairin bağlı olduğu kültürel değerlerin doğrudan göstergesi durumundadır. Edebî eserde kullanılan dilden hareketle o eserin arka planını oluşturan kültür boyutu hakkında tespitler yapılabilir (Börekçi 1999: 534). Diğer taraftan her millet dilini ve kültürünü yoğurur. Bu esnada o, akan bir nehir gibi, içinden geçtiği her topraktan bazı unsurlar alır. Her medeni milletin konuşma ve yazı dili, karşılaştığı medeniyetlerden alınma kelime ve deyimlere doludur. Bu bakımdan her milletin dili, milletin çağlar boyunca yaşadığı tarihin adeta özetidir. Dile bu gözle bakılırsa mana kazanır (Kaplan 1998: 140). Bu sebepten dolayı Orta Türkçe devrinin önemli eserlerinden olan Nehcü'l-Ferâdîs'in dönemine uygun yapısının dil-kültür ilişkisi hakkında bilgi verilmeye çalışılmıştır

Turks have lived together with different communities until today and as a result have exchanged cultures. Particularly, it is seen that a number of words have been exchanged in languages with the acceptance of Islam religion. Setting of from this aspect, it has been attempted to give information on the position of Nehcü'l-Ferâdîs which is one of the important Works of Harezm Turkish in language-culture relationship in our study. Nehcü'l-Ferâdîs has an important role in Turkish language history. It reflects the Middle Period of Turkish language both with its language and the century it was written in. Furthermore, some of the words used in the work are also used in today’s Turkish language. For this reason, a part of the language elements is protected and has reached modern day in the culture which is transferred from generation to generation. Actually, language here is both directly a part of the national culture and a means of another cultural element. In the circumstances, the language chosen when creating a literary work is a direct indicator of the cultural values which the author/ poet is connected to. From the point of view of the language used in the literary work assessments can be done on the cultural dimension which forms the background of the work (Börekçi 1999: 534). On the other hand, every nation kneads its language and culture. Meanwhile, it incorporates some elements from the land it passes through like a flowing river. The spoken and written language of every civilized nation is full of words and idioms taken from the civilizations it meets. In this respect, the language of every nation is almost like a summary of the history of the nation down the ages. The language gains significance when you look at it from this perspective (Kaplan 1998: 140). For this reason, it has been attempted to give information on the language- culture relationship of one of the important works of the Middle Period of Turkish, Nehcü'l-Ferâdîs’ structure which matches its period
