The fluctuations of airborne fungal components in western Romania
The fluctuations of airborne fungal components in western Romania
Outdoor regional concentrations of airborne fungal spores and fungal fragments were measured using the 7-day Lanzonisampler. The daily and intradiurnal fluctuations recorded during the monitored period have been studied. The multiple regressionanalysis was performed in order to determine how much of the total variance in these concentrations could be explained by meteorologicalparameters. Daytime periodicity (statistically significant) was established only in a few cases. As the relative importance of the weatherfactors varied, they could not be ranked according to their effect.
