Gelibolu Yarımadası'nda (Kuzey Ege Denizi, Türkiye) Palamut Balığı (Sarda sarda Bloch, 1793) Avcılığında Kullanılan Multifilament Galsama Ağlarının Seçiciliği

Bu çalışma Gelibolu Yarımadası'ndaki Palamut balığı (Sarda sarda Bloch, 1793) avcılığında kullanılan multifilament galsama ağlarının seçiciliğinin belirlenmesi amacıyla Eylül 2006 - Ekim 2009 tarihleri arasında gerçekleştirilmiştir. Palamut balığının seçiciliği SELECT metoduyla tahmin edildi. 40-44-46-50-56-60-64 ve 72 mm ağ göz açıklığına sahip ağlarda yakalanan palamut balıklarının optimum yakalama boyları, sırasıyla, 22.20, 24.43, 25.54, 27.76, 31.09, 33.31, 35.53 ve 39.97 cm' dir.

Selectivity of Multifilament Gillnets Used for Catching the Atlantic bonito (Sarda sarda Bloch, 1793) from Gallipoli Peninsula (Northern Aegean Sea, Turkey)

This study was carried out between September 2006 and October 2009 so as to determine the selectivity of multifilament gillnets used to catch Atlantic bonito (Sarda sarda Bloch, 1793) in Gallipoli Peninsula. The selectivity of Atlantic bonito was assessed using the SELECT method. The modal lengths of S. sarda in nets with 40-44-46-50-56-60-64 and 72 mm stretched mesh size were 22.20, 24.43, 25.54, 27.76, 31.09, 33.31, 35.53 ve 39.97 cm, respectively.
