Kariyer Kararı Verme Yetkinliği Ölçeği'nin Geliştirilmesi

Bu çalışmada, Türkiye'de geliştirilmiş olan Kariyer Kararı Verme Yetkinliği Ölçeği (KVYÖ) tanıtılmıştır. KVYÖ'nün geçerliği ve güvenirlik çalışması toplam 523 (%82'si kadın, %18'i, erkek) üniversite öğrencisinden elde edilen veriler üzerinde yapılmıştır. KVYÖ'nün geçerliği üç yolla test edilmiştir: Birincisi, açımlayıcı faktör analizi yapılmıştır. Yapılan açımlayıcı faktör analiz sonuçları, KVYÖ'nün beş faktörlü olduğunu ortaya koymaktadır. İkinci olarak ise 424 (%79'u kadın, %21'i erkek) üniversite öğrencisinden elde edilen farklı bir veri seti üzerinde doğrulayıcı faktör analizi yapılmıştır. Doğrulayıcı faktör analizi sonuçları, maddelerin beş faktör ile temsil edilebileceğini göstermektedir. KVYÖ'nün ve faktörlerinin güvenirlik çalışması Cronbach Alpha ve testi yarılama yöntemleri ile hesaplanmıştır. KVYÖ'nün tümü için Cronbach Alpha= .97 ve rxx = .95 bulunmuştur. Faktörlerin her biri için ise güvenirlik katsayıları. 74 ile. 93 arasında değişmektedir. Elde edilen bulgular, KVYÖ'nün ve faktörlerinin üniversite öğrencilerinin kariyer kararı verme yetkinliği düzeylerini geçerli ve güvenilir olarak ölçebileceğini göstermektedir.

The Development of Career Decision-Making Self-Efficacy Scale

In this study, Career Decision-Making Self Efficacy Scale (CDSS) developed in Turkish cultural context was presented. CDSS' reliability and validity studies were implemented over the data of 523 college students in total (%82 Female, %18 Male). Validity of CDSS was checked by means of three methods. The first one was content validity. The second one was explanatory factor analysis. Results of the exploratory factor analysis prove that CDSS has five factors. On the other hand, confirmatory factor analysis study was implemented on 424 college students (%79 Female, %21 Male). Results of confirmatory factor analysis indicate that items could be represented with five factors. Reliability analysis of CDSS and factors were done by means of two methods; Cronbach Alpha coefficient and test half method. Reliability coefficients and correlation coefficient of the test and Cronbach Alpha Reliability Coefficients are indicated as; CDSS, Cronbach Alpha= .97 and rxx = .95. For each of the factors, the reliability coefficients ranged from .74 to .93. The findings obtained indicate that CDSS and its factors are applicable and reliable scales to assess career decision-making self efficacy levels of college students.
