Bu çalısmada aska iliskin tutum biçimlerinin (tutkulu ask, oyun gibi ask, arkadasça ask, mantıklı ask, sahiplenici ask ve özgeci ask) olumlu ve olumsuz duyguları yordayıcılıgı incelenmistir. Bu amaçla, Aska liskin Tutumlar Ölçegi: Kısa Formu ile Olumlu ve Olumsuz Duygu Ölçegi Orta Dogu Teknik Üniversitesi’nin degisik fakültelerinde lisans üstü egitimlerine devam eden 133 (70 kadın, 63 erkek) ögrenciye uygulanmıstır. Katılımcıların olumlu ve olumsuz duygu puanları üzerinde ayrı ayrı yürütülen standart çoklu regresyon analizi sonuçları, tutkulu ask biçiminin hem olumlu hem de olumsuz duyguyu yordadıgını; sahiplenici ask ve özgeci ask biçimlerinin ise olumsuz duygunun anlamlı düzeyde yordayıcıları oldugunu göstermistir.

Present study investigated the extent to which love attitude styles (passionate love (Eros), possessive/dependent love (Mania), practical love (Pragma), selfless love (Agape), game-playing love (Ludus), and companionate love (Storge) types) predicted the positive and negative affect. For this purpose, Love Attitude Scale: Short Form and Positive and Negative Affect Schedule were administered to 133 (70 women 63 men) graduate students enrolled in various faculties of Middle East Technical University. The results of two separate standard multiple regression analysis revealed that passionate love style (Eros) was the significant predictor of both positive and negative affect whereas possessive/dependent love style (Mania) and selfless love (Agape) were found to be the significant predictors of negative affect.
