Amerikan Hastanesi yenidoğan işitme taraması sonuçları Orijinal Araştırma

Amaç: Amerikan Hastanesi yenidoğan işitme taraması programı sonuçlarını bildirmek ve güncel literatürle birlikte tartışmak Gereç ve Yöntem: Amerikan Hastanesi’nde Haziran 2004 Temmuz 2009 tarihleri arasında tüm yenidoğanlar 8052 çalışmaya alındı ve üç basamaklı bir program uygulandı Bulgular: Beş bebekte 0 06 iki taraflı beş bebekte ise tek taraflı 0 06 nbsp; sensorinöral nbsp; işitme kaybı saptandı Çıkarımlar: Doğuştan işitme kaybı nbsp; doğumsal önemli anomaliler arasında en sık görülenlerden biridir ve nbsp; tanı koyulmadığında konuşma dil sosyal ve bilişsel gelişme çevreye uyum ve iletişimde gecikmeye yol açmaktadır Yenidoğan işitme taraması programı doğuştan işitme kayıplarının erken nbsp; dönemde saptanması için gereklidir İşitme kaybının erken saptanması ile birçok çocuğa erken müdahale edilecek ve daha iyi klinik nbsp; sonuçlara varılacaktır Türk Ped Arş 2009; 44: 135 7 Anahtar kelimeler: İşitme kaybı tarama programı yenidoğan

Results of American Hospital newborn hearing screening program Original Article

Aim: To report the results of newborn hearing screening program nbsp; in American Hospital and nbsp; discuss with current literature Material and Method: All newborns 8052 nbsp; born in American Hospital between July 2004 June 2009 were included in our study and nbsp;performed a test program of three steps Results: Five infants nbsp; 0 06 were determined to have nbsp; bilateral and five infants 0 06 were determined to have unilateral sensorineural hearing loss Conclusions: Congenital hearing loss is nbsp; one of the most common major abnormalities present nbsp; at birth and if undetected will impede speech language social and cognitive development orientation to environment and communication Newborn hearing screening program is essential to detect congenital hearing loss earlier Early detection of hearing loss can lead to early intervention and improve clinical outcomes for most children Turk Arch Ped 2009; 44: 135 7 Key words: Hearing nbsp; loss newborn nbsp; screening program nbsp;
