Bu çalışma, "Kanıta Dayalı Kütüphanecilik: vaka çalışmaları ve aktif öğrenme alıştırmaları" başlıklı kitap içerisinde yer alan "Ne, ne olmuş, şimdi ne olacak" adlı bölümün çevirisidir. Daha önce, aynı kitabın, "Avustralya'da kanıta dayalı kütüphanecilik: bir ulusun kaynak paylaşımını geliştirmek" adlı bölümünün çevirisi yine Türk Kütüphaneciliği Dergisi için yapılmıştı. Bu bölümün yazarları olan Carla Brooks ve arkadaşları ABD'de MichiganDearborn Üniversitesi'nde bulunan Mardigian Kütüphanesi'nin idari ve teknik çeşitli bölümlerinde sorumluluk almış kişilerdir. 2003 yılında başlatılan bir ekip çalışması ve danışmanlık desteği ile Mardigian Kütüphanesi'nin hizmet kalitesinin araştırılması hedeflenmiştir. This study is the translation of the section "What, so what, now what" in the book titled "Evidence-based Librarianship: case studies and active learning exercises”. The translation of the section titled "Evidence-based librarianship Down Under: improving a nation's resourcesharing" in the same book was previously made again for the Journal of Turkish Librarianship. The authors of this section, Carla Brooks et al., previously worked for some administrative and technical departments of the Mardigian Library at the University of Michigan-Dearborn in the USA. With a teamwork and consultancy support launched in 2003, it was aimed to investigate the service quality of the Mardigian Library. The data obtained from students and faculty members related to the library have led to suggestions regarding the current state of the library (what), assessment of the consequences and problems (so what) and what needs to be done (now what). At the end of the research, the suggestions were carried into effect systematically and programmatically. Considering the importance of the evidence-based librarianship for both all the researchers interested in the subject as well as for those who study in the field of application, we hope that this translation will both contribute to the literature and set an example for similar studies in the future
