Bu noktada, Orta Asya Türk kent model(ler)ine dönük çıkarımlar yapılabilmesi için, VIIL-XIII. yüzyıl zaman aralığında Orta Asya Türk kentlerinin mekânsal değişim/dönüşüm sürecinin ortaya konması gerektiği düşünülmektedir. Dolayısıyla bu araştırmanın bir başka boyutu da Türk kent model(ler)ini biçimlendiren dinamiklerin belirlenmesidir. Orta Asya Türk kent model(ler)ine dönük (olası) modellerin belirlenebilmesi için metodoloji boyutunda, dönemin özgün yazılı ve görsel kaynaklarının harita ya da plânlar üzerine aktarılması yoluyla çözümlenmesine dönük bir metodoloji kullanılmıştır.

The aim of this study is to determine the Turkish urban model(s) in Central Asia as spatial reflections of the organized urban network in Central Asia during the period between VHI^-and XIIIth centuries. In this point, the determination for ike Turkish urban model(s) in Central Asia needs the process of the transformation of Central Asia Turkish town of that period. Consequently, another dimension of this study is bring out the dynamics that shaped the Turkish urban rnodel(s) in Central Asia. In order to establish the typologies of the Turkish urban model(s) in Central Asia in terms of the methodology, it is considered that the use of maps and plans based on original historic and manuscript sources should be supported with their spatial dimension.
