Türkiye’nin coğrafi k, iklimsel, fl oristik-faunistik, tarımsal ürün çeşitliliği ve tarımsal ürünlerin ülke açısından önemi dikkate alındığında, önemli bir tarımsal ürün zararlısı olan afi tlerle ilgili ülkemizde çalışmaların yeterli boyutta olmadığı görülmektedir. Özellikle Türkiye afi t faunası için şu anda belirtilen sayının yeterli olmadığı, ayrıca afi tlerin zararları konusunda istatistiksel verilere sahip olunmadığı gözlenmiştir. Bununla birlikte biz henüz yeterli bilgiye sahip değilken ekolojik faktörlerdeki hızlı değişimler nedeniyle afi tlerin yayılımı, tarımsal ürünlere zararları ve çeşitlenmeleri hızlı bir şekilde artmaktadır. Bu nedenle bu derleme bu önemli konuya dikkat çekmeyi amaçlamaktadır.

Studies conducted on aphid species in Turkey that are an important pests can be thought insuffi cient when considered geographical, climatic, fl oristic-faunistic and agricultural features of the country. It has been reliazed that the number of species listed for Turkey aphid fauna does not show exact number and also there is no statistical data show how much damage aphid caused. Even we do not have these basic knowledges, aphids invade new areas and their damages to crop are getting higher due to ecological interactions. Therefore this review aimed to have an attention to this important subject
