Reflections Of The Communist Ideology On The Education In The Soviet Union: 1920s And 1930s

When the Bolsheviks seized power in Russia after the 1917 revolution, this madea tremendous impression all over the world. For the first time socialism sprangto life in a country. Revolution was the major achievement of the socialists, but itwould be quite early to call it a victory that time. Because a majority of the populationwas far from latching on the ideals of the revolution. And consequentlythe real victory would be possible with the creation of a communist society, for which the education system needed to have radical reforms. This paperprimarily focuses the organization of Soviet education system and problems thatare encountered in this process. The study also explains how political differencesof 1920s and 1930s had reflection in the field of education. But this essay mainlyexplores the role of education in the ideological transformation of Soviet society.
