İslâm kültür ve medeniyetinin önemli dönemlerinden birini oluşturan Selçuklu devleti, siyasî, içtimaî, iktisadî, hukukî, ilmî ve tasavvufî hayatın birlikte inkişafı ile temayüz etmiştir. Selçuklu medeniyetinin bu sacayaklarından tasavvufî dokusu en az diğerleri kadar öneme sahip bir birikimdir. Bu makalede Selçuklu dönemindeki tasavvufî hayatın seyri, sûfîlerle siyasîlerin yakın ilişkisi, tasavvufî kurumların yapısı, tekke ve medrese birlikteliği ele alınmaktadır.

Seljuq Empire, one of the important periods of Islamic Culture and Civilization, became distinguished with development of political, social, economic, judicial, scientific and Sufi life together. Sufism has as much importance as at least the other dynamics of the Seljukian Civilization stated above. This study examines the mystical life course, close relations between sufis and politicians, the structure of mystical institutions and the unity of the dervish lodges and madrasas in Seljukian period.
