Radyasyon rektiti (proktiti) ve argon plazma koagülasyonu
Radyasyon rektiti (proktiti), pelviste yerleşik tümörlerin tedavisi sırasında Radyoterapi (RT) alan hastalarda görülen ciddi bir komplikasyondur. Tanı RT sonrası genellikle alt gastrointestinal sistem (GİS) kanaması ve anemi şikayetleriyle başvuran hastalara kolonoskopi ile konulmaktadır. RT sonrası tekrarlayıcı kanlı ishal şikayetleri ve anemi ile prezente olan klinik ve kolonoskopi ile radyasyon proktiti tanısı konulan ve argon plazma koagülasyonu (APC) uygulanan 2 hasta sunulmuştur.

Radiation rectitis (proctitis) and argon plasma coagulation
Radiation rectitis (proctitis) is a serious complication seen in Radiotherapy (RT) patients during the treatment of tumors located in the pelvis. Diagnosis is usually made by colonoscopy in patients presenting with lower gastrointestinal system (GIS) bleeding and anemia after RT. Two patients who presented with recurrent bloody diarrhea and anemia after RT, who were diagnosed with radiation proctitis by clinical and colonoscopy and underwent argon plasma coagulation (APC) are presented.
