Kanser Hastalarında Fertilitenin Korunmasında Kullanılan Kriyoprezervasyon Yöntemleri
Günümüzde erken tanı ve tedavilerdeki gelişmelerle kanser hastalarında sağ kalım süreleriuzamıştır. Kanserli hastanın onkoloji tedavisinden sonra da üreme yeteneğinin korunmasıyaşam kalitesinin yükseltilmesinde önemli bir yer tutmaktadır. Erişkin kadın ve erkeklerdeolgun üreme hücrelerine ulaşmak mümkündür. Embriyo ve oosit dondurulmasında vitrifikasyonyöntemi, spermatozoa ve testis hücre süspansiyonu dondurulmasında yavaş dondurma yöntemi,over dokusu dondurulmasında ise her iki yöntem tercih edilmektedir. Prepubertal dönemdeise gonad dokularının yani üreme kök hücrelerinin kriyoprezervasyonu tek seçenek olarakkarşımıza çıkmaktadır. Ancak prepubertal testis dokusunun kriyoprezervasyonu henüz deneyselaşamadadır. Kanser hastaları için fertilite restorasyon tekniklerindeki gelişmeler, yakın birgelecekte kliniklerde rutin olarak uygulanabilmesi açısından umut vadetmektedir. Ancakprepubertal erkek çocuklarda testis dokusundaki spermatogonyal kök hücrelerin güvenli ve enuygun şekilde kriyoprezervasyonunu sağlayacak detaylı araştırmalara ihtiyaç vardır.
