Ağız ve larenkste lipoid proteinozis: Olgu sunumu

Lipoid proteinozis nadir görülen, otozomal resesif geçişli, ciltte, oral kavite ve larenks mukozasında hi- yalin materyal birikimiyle karakterize bir hastalıktır. Yirmi üç yaşında kadın hasta ses kısıklığı ve ağız kuruluğu yakınmasıyla başvurdu. Fizik muayenede oral kavite ve orofarenks mukozasında, larengosko- pide ise vokal kordlar ve diğer larenks yapılarında sarı renkli papüler lezyonlar görüldü. Oral mukoza ve vokal kordlardan çıkarılan lezyonların histopato- lojik sonucu lipoid proteinozis olarak bildirildi. Ses kı- sıklığında hafif bir düzelme olan hastanın iki yıl son- ra yapılan kontrol muayenesinde ses kısıklığında ar- tış ve vokal kordlar üzerinde yeni birikimler gözlendi. Mikrolarengeal cerrahi uygulandı ve lezyonlar temiz- lendi

Lipoid proteinosis in the mouth and laryngeal structures: a case report

Lipoidproteinosis is an uncommon autosomal reces- sive disorder characterized by accumulation of hya- line material in the skin, oral and laryngeal mucosa.A 23-year-old woman presented with complaints of hoarseness and dryness of the mouth. Yellowish papular deposits were noted in the oral and laryn geal mucosa on physical examination, and in vocal cords and laryngeal structures during laryngoscopy.The lesions were removed and histopathologic diag- nosis was made as lipoidproteinosis. A slight improvement was obtained in hoarseness. A control examination after two years showed an increase in the extent of hoarseness and new deposits in the vocal cords. The lesions were removed by microlaryngeal surgery.
