DEVELOPMENT OF WOVEN FABRICS HAVE DIFFERENT STRUCTURES FOR TEMPEST SAFETY OF BUILDINGS OWNED MILTARY AND GOVERNMENT

The purpose of this study is to develop the woven fabrics have different structures for strengthening the buildings of the military and public institutions, against of the information content electromagnetic emissions which are spread unintentionally from inside in ternlS of infonnation se<:urity. For this purpose, initially composite yarn containing stainless steel (SS) wire was fabricated in controlled conditions by mcans of hollow spindle covering system. Then this composite yam was turned to fabric fonn on a weaving loom. Afterwards, electromagnetic shielding effe<:tivcness (EMSE) of fabric samples was evaluated with coaxial holder method which was based on ASTM-D 4935 standard. According to the experimental results, it is found that the useof composite yarns containing SS wire in the production of woven fabrics provides EMSE propenies. In addition, the results show that, the settlement of composite yarn in fabric structure is more imponant than the content of composite yam, in respe<:t ofEMSE of fabrics.
