Koloristlerin karşılaştığı en önemli problemlerden birisi temel boyamaların yapıldığı kumaş ile müşterinin yolladığı kumaş yapılarının farklı olması sebebiyle renk tutturmadaki zorluktur. Bu çalışmada farklı kumaş yapılarının boyama verimliliği üzerine etkisi araştırılmıştır. Bu amaçla, altı farklı örme ve dokuma kumaş, üç farklı boyarmadde ile yedi konsantrasyonda boyanmış ve kumaş renk verimlilikleri X-Rite spectral fotometresi ile ölçülmüştür. Sonuçlara göre kumaş yapısının renk verimi ve renk farklılığı üzerine çok önemli bir etkisi olduğu belirlenmiştir.

One of the most critical problems that the colorists come across is the different structures of the sample fabric and the fabric received from customer. In this paper, an experimental study about the effect of the different fabric structures on dyeing and color efficiency has been tried to be explained. For this purpose six different knitted and woven fabrics have been dyed in seven concentrations with three dyestuffs and the color efficiency of different fabric structures has been determined by using X-Rite spectral photometer. According to the results, it is found that fabric structure has a substantial effect on color efficiency end color difference.
