Elektro lif çekim (electrospinning) yönteminde proses parametrelerinin nano lif özellikleri üzerindeki etkilerinin incelenmesi

Elektro lif çekim (electrospinning) yöntemi, literatürde çok uzun süredir bilinmesine rağmen akademik araştırma ve çalışmalar, bu yöntemle özellikle nano lif elde etme çabalarına paralel olarak son yıllarda artış göstermiştir. Bu çalışmada, tek iğneli elektro lif çekim yöntemi ile poliakrilonitril (PAN) lifleri eğrilerek; eğirme esnasında uygulanan voltaj, elektrotlar arasındaki mesafe ve polimer konsantrasyonu gibi proses parametrelerinin lif özellikleri "üzerindeki etkileri incelenmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre; voltaj, elektrotlar arasındaki mesafe ve polimer konsantrasyonu arttıkça lif çapının genellikle arttığı gözlenmiştir.

An investigation about the effects of process parameters on nanofibre properties in electrospinning

Although electrospinning method has been known for a long time in literature, the academic research and publications have increased recently in parallel to the efforts of nanofibre production using this method. In this study, poly(acrylonitrile) (PAN) nanofibres were produced by using single needle electrospinning method and then the effect of process parameters such as applied voltage during spinning, distance between the electrodes and polymer concentration on fibre properties was investigated. We observed that fibre diameter increase, therefore much coarser fibres were produced as the voltage value, the distance between the electrodes and polymer concentration increase in general.
