Taguchi metodu: Bir uygulama

Taguchi method: An application

Taguchi method is an important method of producing products in low cost and high quality. This method has been applied in Japan since 1960's and in USA since 1980's. Taguchi method points out that, all products should be produced at the target values. A diversion from the target brings out quality losses. These losses can be eliminated by a robust design. In order to do that, Taguchi used a number of techniques based on the statistical experimental design. Taguchi's works on robust design provided concepts such as orthogonal array, lineer graphs, signal/noise ratio to become part of quality literature. In this article, a general overview of Taguchi method is given and its systematic is explained.
