Bu makâle, iki bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölüm, Rifâiyyenin bir kolu olan Ma’rifî’liğin pîri Muhammed er-Rifâî el-Ma’rifî’nin oğlu Seyyid Ali Sâbit Efendi’nin hayatıyla ilgili bilgilerin özetini içermektedir. İkinci bölüm, Ma’rifî’liğin “kisve” anlayışıyla ilgilidir. Bu bölümdeki bilgiler, Seyyid Ali Sâbit Efendi’nin Kisve-i Ma’rifî adlı risalesinde geçen konuların ana başlıklarının bir araya getirilmesiyle meydana gelmiştir. Makâle, tasavvuf geleneği içinde önemli yeri olan kisve geleneğine ait bir eseri tanıtmayı amaçlamaktadır.

This article is consisted of two parts. The first part deals with the life of Sayyid Ali Sabit Effendi, son of Muhammad al-Rifai al-Marif, who is the pîr of Maarifiyya. The second part is about the dressing code of maarifiyya. The information in this part is composed by gathering the subject matters of the treatise of Sayyid Ali Effendi, Kiswa-i Ma’rifi. This article aims to introduce the dressing code, which occupies a significant place in the Sufi tradition, through this treatise.
