Gıda İsrafının Belirleyicileri: Sosyoekonomik Değişkenler Açısından Bir Değerlendirme

Amaç: Çalışmada gıda güvenliği açısından son derece önemli kavramlardan olan gıda israfının seçilmiş sosyoekonomik değişkenlerle arasındaki ilişki incelenerek, gıda israfını önleyici politika önerilerinde bulunmak amaçlanmıştır.Tasarım/Metodoloj /Yaklaşım: Analizde 146 ülke yer almaktadır. Çalışmada Birleşmiş Milletler Çevre Programı (Unted Natons Envronment Programme)'nın hazırlamış olduğu 2021 Gıda İsrafı Endeks (Food Waste Index) değerler ile nüfus, gayri safi yurtiçi hasıla (GSYH), elektrik tüketim, yoksulluk, insan gelişme endeks (İGE), eğitim ve istihdam değişkenler arasındaki ilişki Pearson korelasyon analizi ile incelenmiştir.Bulgular: Analiz sonucunda, gıda israfı le sosyo-ekonomik değişkenler arasında ilişki olduğu görülmüştür. Gıda israfının nüfus, GSYH, elektrik tüketim ve yoksulluk le pozitif bir korelasyona, İGE ve eğitim ile negatif bir korelasyona sahip olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.Özgünlük/Değer: Literatür taraması sırasında gıda israfının, sosyo-ekonomik boyutunu inceleyen bir çalışmaya rastlanılmamıştır. Bu nedenle çalışmanın bu boşluğun doldurulmasına yardım edeceği ve gelecekteki çalışmalar için de yol gösterici olacağı düşünülmektedir.

Determinants of Food Waste: An Evaluation in Terms of Socioeconomic Variables

Purpose: The aim of the study is to target food waste in policy by targeting food waste, all of the waste from the concept- related to economic purposes.Design/Methodology/Approach: 146 countries are included in the analysis. In the study, the relationship between the quality of 2021 and 2021 prepared by the People Environment Program and the population, gross food product (GDP), electricity consumption, education, human development (HDI), and training Personnel selection is related to evaluating Pearson.Findings: As seen between food waste and socio-economic adjustments. It was appreciated that food waste has a high annual in population, GDP, electricity consumption level, and a negative annual in HDI and education.Originality/Value: No food wastage from literature cuisine or socio-economic production has been encountered.
