TÜRKÇE İNTERNET SİTELERİNDEKİ ORTOPEDİK HASTALIKLAR HAKKINDAKİ BİLGİLERİN DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ: ÖN ÇAPRAZ BAĞ RÜPTÜRÜ ÜZERİNE PİLOT BİR ÇALIŞMA

Amaç Hastaların hastalıkları ile ilgili internet araştırması yapma sıklıkları gün geçtikçe artmaktadır. ÖÇB ame liyatı konusunda bilgi arayan hastalar için internet çok önemli bir kaynaktır. Hastaların kaygılarını, tercihleri ni, sorularını daha iyi anlamak için onların ulaştıkları verilerin kaynaklarını incelemek gereklidir. Çalışma mızın amacı internetten arama motorları aracılığı ile ulaşılan ÖÇB rüptürü tanı ve tedavisi ile ilgili Türkçe kaynakların güvenilirliğinin değerlendirilmesidir. Gereç ve Yöntem Türkiye pazarındaki en çok kullanılan 3 internet ara ma motoru tespit edildi. Google (http://www.google. com) en yaygın kullanılan arama motoru iken Yan dex (http://www.yandex.com) , ve Yahoo (http://www. yahoo.com) diğer popüler arama motorları olarak be lirlendi. Belirlenen arama motorlarında “ön çapraz bağ ameliyatı” araştırması yapıldı. Google sonuçlarının ilk 30’u Yandex ve Yahoo sonuçlarının ilk onar tanesi de ğerlendirildi. İnternet siteleri 2 farklı gözlemci yazar tarafından; sosyal medya, hastane, hekim, akademik, basın, blog, ve yazarı belirtilmeyen bir kuruma ait ol mayanlar ise anonim olarak kategorilere ayrıldı. İnter net sitelerinin uygunluğu ve kalitesi; DISCERN Skoru, Journal Of The American Medical Association (JAMA) benchmark kriterleri ve Bruce-Brand ön çapraz bağ rekonstrüksiyonu spesifik içerik skoru kullanılarak be lirlendi. Bulgular Yazar tipine göre en yüksek Bruce Brand ön çapraz bağ rekonstrüksiyonu spesifik skoru ortalamaları 7,2 ile hekim siteleri ve 7 ile hastane sitelerinden elde edildi. En yüksek skor 25 üzerinden 15 ile bir Ortope dist hekim sitesinde tespit edildi. En düşük skor ise 1 ile bir sosyal medya sitesinden tespit edildi. DISCERN skoru incelemesine göre mükemmel kalite ve minimal eksiklik sınıfına giren sadece 2 site bulundu. Yazar tipleri arasında Bruce Brand, DISCERN ve JAMA Benchmark Skorları bakımından anlamlı farklılık bu lunmuştur. (p=0.006, p

EVALUATION OF TURKISH INFORMATION ABOUT ORTHOPEDIC DISORDERS ON THE INTERNET: A PILOT STUDY OF ANTERIOR CRUCIATE LIGAMENT INJURY

Objective The frequency of internet research related to patients' diseases is increasing day by day. Internet is a very important resource for patients looking for informati on on ACL surgery. In order to better understand the concerns, preferences and questions of patients, it is necessary to examine the sources of the data they have reached. The aim of our study is to evaluate the reliability of Turkish sources about the diagnosis and treatment of ACL rupture, which is accessed via sear ch engines. Materials and Methods 3 most used Internet search engine in Turkey market was determined. Yandex (http://www.yandex.com), and Yahoo (http://www.yahoo.com) were identified as other popular search engines while Google (http:// www.google.com) was the most widely used search engine. The term of “anterior cruciate ligament sur gery” was searched. The top 30 results of the Google and the top 10 Yandex and Yahoo results were evalu ated with DISCERN score, JAMA benchmark criteria and Bruce – Brand anterior crusiate ligament recons truction score. Results According to the author type, the highest Bruce Brand anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction-specific sco re averages were obtained from physician sites with 7,2 and 7 from hospital sites with 7. 1 point on a social media site. According to the DISCERN rating evalua tion, there were only 2 sites found in excellent quality and minimum deficiency category.
