Bilateral Distal Tibia Metafiz Stres Kırığı

Rekreasyonel sportif faaliyetlerin artışı ile birlikte spora bağlı yaralanmaların sıklığı artmaktadır. Stres kırıkları, sıklıkla proximal tibia metafizinde tek taraflı olarak görülmektedir. Bilateral ya da distal tibia metafizinde görülmesi beklenmedik durumlardandır. Tanıda klinik şüphenin önemi büyüktür. Bu olgu sunumunda, rekreasyonel sportif faaliyet sonucu bilateral distal tibia metafizinde stres kırığı gelişen bir olgu ve tedavi yaklaşımımız paylaşılmaktadır. Olgu, nadir görülen bir lokalizasyonda ve bilateral olması nedeni ile bu tür durumlarda her zaman stres kırığı ihtimali akılda tutulmalıdır

Bilateral Distal Tibia Metaphyseal Stress Fracture

The frequency of sport related injuries increases with the increase of recreational sport activities. Stress fracture is often seen unilaterally at proximal metaphysis of tibia. Distal metaphysis of tibia or bilateral presentation are both rarely seen. Clinical suspect is very important for diagnosis. In this case report, we present a case of stress fracture at the distal metaphyseal of tibia bilaterally after recreational sports activity and our treatment approach was discussed. This case was presented bilaterally and at a very rare location, stres fracture possibility should always be on our minds
