Türkiye Türkçesinin tarihi sekli olan Eski Anadolu Türkçesi, Türk dünyasının en büyük grubunu olusturan Oguzların da bilinen en eski yazı dilidir. Basta Türkiye Türkçesi olmak üzere, Türk dilinin birçok problemli konusunun aydınlatılabilmesi için Eski Anadolu Türkçesinin ayrıntıları ile bilinmesi gereklidir. Bu dogrultuda ilgili devreye ait eserlerin hemen her gramer konusunda titizlikle islenmesi son derece önemlidir. İste bu düsünceden hareketle biz, bu çalısmamızda Eski Anadolu Türkçesinin en eski sairlerinden Seyyâd Hamza’nın Dâsitân-ı Sultân Mahmûd adlı mesnevisinde geçen fiilleri ele aldık. Manzume, gerek fiiller gerekse diger gramer ögeleri bakımından Eski Anadolu Türkçesinin bütün karakteristik özelliklerini yansıtmaktadır.

Old Anatolian Turkish, which is the historical form of Turkey Turkish, developing the utmost group of the Turkish world is the most known and old literary language. To clue the problemeatic topics of the Turkish language,before all else Turkey Turkish, the Old Anatolian Turkish area must known with details. In this context, it is extremely important to work about grammar topics from this period. From this conception we want to discuss Seyyâd Hamza’s work, who is one of the oldest poets of Old Anatolian Turkish. We took up the verbs in Seyyâd Hamza’s Dâsitân-ı Sultân Mahmûd mesnevi. From all directions, the verbs and grammar items, the poem reflects the characteristic properties of Old Anatolian Turkish.
