Relationship between seed and grain zinc, manganese, copper and iron contents of various wheat genotypes

This study was carried out to determine the effect of seed zinc (Zn), manganese (Mn), copper (Cu) iron (Fe) concentrations on grain Zn, Mn, Cu and Fe concentrations in wheat cultivars (Triticum spp.073/44, Dagdas, Fandango, Warigal-5RL, Gun-91, SBVD-2-23, Bülbül, Kıraç, P. Niska, Zitavka, ES-14, BDME-10, BDME-19, Kate-A, Kırkpınar, BDME-9, ES-90-3, ES-90-8-1, ES-90-14) under field condition. According to results obtained, it was seen that seed micronutrient concentration had the positive effect on the grain's micronutrient concentrations. Grain's micronutrient concentrations obtained from seeds containing higher micronutrient were higher than seeds with lower micronutrient concentrations.
