The effects of defatted soybean meal (SBM) as partial replacement for fish meal on the growth and chemical composition of tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus niloticus L., 1758)
: Balık unu yerine soya fasulyesi küspesi (SFK) katkısının tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus niloticus L., 1758) 'nm gelişme performansı ve vücut besin madde bileşenlerine etkilen. Çalışmada, tilapia yemlerinde balık unu (BU) yerine soya fasulyesi küspesi (SFK) katkısının, tilapialarda (O. niloticus niloticus) gelişme performansı ve vücut besin madde bileşenlerinin oranlarına etkileri araştırılmıştır. Toplam dört test rasyonu hazırlanmıştır. Birinci rasyonda % 39.5 oranında balık unu kullanılmış ve SFK kullanılmamıştır. İkinci, üçüncü ve dördüncü rasyonlarda sırasıyla %30.0 BU+%12.5 SFK, %20.0 BU+%28.3 SFK ve %10.0 BU+ %44.0 SFK kullanılmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda, birinci ve ikinci rasyonlarla beslenen gnıplardaki balıklarda, diğer gruplardan istatistiksel olarak önemli branda daha yüksek ağırlık kazancı saptanmıştır (p

In this study, the effects of soybean meal (SBM) as an alternative protein source on the growth performance and chemical composition of tilapia (O. niloticus niloticus) were studied. Total four isonitrogenous and isocaloric test diets were formulated. In first diet, the fish meal was used as 39.5 % of diet without SBM supplementation. Second, third and fourth diets were formulated to contain 30.0% FM+ 12.5 % SBM, 20.0% FM+28.3% SBM and 10.0% FM +%44.0 % SBM of diets respectively. At the end of the study, the fish fed diets 1 and 2 had a significantly higher final body weights than the fish fed diets 3 and 4 (p<0.05). But, whole body lipid contents for the group fed diet 4 were significantly higher then those of other groups (p<0.05). The results showed that SBM can be added as 12.5% of tilapia diets with sparing 24.1% of fish meal.
