Bu çalışma, pisi ve kalkanların Ege Bölgesi koşullarına adaptasyonunun uygulanabilirliğini inceleyen bir ön çalışmadır. Balıklar Zonguldak ili liman bölgesinden temin edilmiş ve transfer karayolu ile 14 saat sürmüştür. Kalkanlar 20 kg/m3, pisiler 80 kg/m3 olacak şekilde taşınmıştır. Taşıma işlemi sırasında ve sonrasında transfere bağlı ölüme rastlanmamıştır. Pisi ve kalkanların bir haftalık süre sonunda Ege Bölgesi su koşullarına adapte olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda pisi ve yavru kalkanların ergin bireylerden pelet yeme daha çabuk adapte oldukları saptanmıştır. Sonuç olarak yapılan bu ön çalışma ile pisi ve kalkanlarda Ege Bölgesi koşullarına adapte olabilecekleri konusunda önemli bulgular tespit edilmiştir.

The preliminary study on transfer and adaptation of turbot (Scophthalmus maeoticus Pallas, 1831) and founder species (Platichthys flesus luscus L, 1758). This is a preliminary study which is observed adaptation of Turbot and Flounder to Aegean Sea water conditions. The fish were provided from harbour region of Zonguldak and transferred with highway at 14 hours. In this transportation, stock densities of fish were 20 kg/m3 and 80 kg/m3 for Turbot and Flounder, respectively. There were no death during and after the transportation. It was established that Turbot and Flounder were able to adapt to water condition of Aegean Sea at 7 days. In the result of the study, it was estimated that t'ingerling of Turbot and Flounder were adapted more to dry pellets than adult fish. Consequently, with this study, there is considerably result of adaptation of Turbot and Flounder on Aegean Sea water condition were determined.
