Doğadaki kefal balıklarında görülen pasteurellosis salgını

Photobacterium damselae subs, piscicida nedeniyle meydana gelen pasteurellosis, izmir'in Gerence ve Gülbahçe körfezlerindeki doğal deniz ortamındaki topan kefal (Mugil cephalus) ve mavraki kefal (Chelon labrosus) balıklarında yoğun ölümlerle seyreden bir vaka görüldü. Hasta balıklarda halsislik, deride kararma, pullarda dökülme ve ventralinde hemorajiler görüldü. Nekropside heato-splenomegali, beyazımtırak bir ishal de görüldü. İzole edilen bakterinin fenotipik karekterleri daha önce levreklerden (Dicentrarchus labrax) izole edilenlerle aynı bulundu. Bu araştırmada, kefallerde görülen salgının klinik ve otopsi bulguları ile izole edilen fenotipik özellikleri bildirildi.

A natural outbreak of pasteurellosis in mugil spp.

Pasteurellosis which caused by Photobacterium damselae subsp. piscicida have been observed with high mortality in natural marine fish Mugil cephalus (Linnaeus, 1758) and Chelon labrosus (Linnaeus, 1758) in Gerence and Gülbahçe bay of Izmir. Sluggishness, darkening of skin, lose of scales, haemorrhage of ventral area of the body were also observed in diseased fish. Hepathosplenomegalie, whitish diarrhoea were also observed in necropsy. Phenotypic characteristics of isolated bacterium were same with preciously isolated Photobacterium damselae subsp. piscicida from diseased sea bass (Dicentrarchus labrax L, 1758). Pasteurellosis from Mugil cephalus (Linnaeus, 1758) and Chelon labrosus (Linnaeus, 1758) were reported in this paper subjecting clinical findings and phenotypic characteristics of the isolated bacterie.
