Av araçlarının markalanması ve Türkiye'de uygulanabilirliği üzerine öneriler

Av araçlarının markalanması; avcılıkta kullanılan av araçlarının sahibinin mülkiyetini kanıtlama ve av aracının tanımlanması ayrıca av aracının su içinde pozisyonunu göstermesi amacıyla kullanılan işaretleme işlemidir. Av araçlarının markalanması önceleri balıkçının kayığına veya av aracı üzerine kazman ve yakılmak suretiyle oyulan çeşitli işaretler ile oluşmuştur. Günümüzde ise markalama işlemi üzerinde çeşitli bilgileri içeren plastik, metal veya barkodlu etiketler ile yapılmaktadır. Av araçlarının markalanması; 1) Av aracı sahibi veya sahiplerinin belirtilmesi. 2) Av aracının mevzuata uygun olarak standart hale getirilmesi, 3) Kontrol işlemlerinin etkinleştirilmesi ve daha pratik hale getirilmesi ve 4) Kayıtların tutulmasıyla, stokların rasyonel değerlendirilmesi amacıyla uygulanmaktadır. Dünyada pek çok ülkede av araçları markalanmaktadır. Fakat Türkiye'de bu uygulama henüz başlamamıştır. Bu makale ile, av araçlarının markalanmasını tanıtmak ve uygulamaları hakkında bilgi vermek, ayrıca Türkiye'de uygulanabilirliği yönünde öneriler vererek bir tartışma ortamının oluşturulması amaçlanmıştır.

Marking of fishing gears and recommendations on its feasibilitiy in Turkey

Marking of fishing gears is the process which is applied in order-to prove the owner of the given fishing gear used in fisheries, identify the gear concerned, and indicates its position in water. Marking of fishing gears was originally through use of various wooden marks carved or etched on the gears or boats. Today, however, the process of marking is by using plastic or metal tags on which a variety of information is written or barcoded. Marking of fishing gears aims 1) To indicate the owner(s) of the fishing gear 2) Standardise the gear concerned under the regulations involved, 3) Make control processes more efficient and practicable, and 4) Manage fisheries sources rationally by filling the records in question. Fishing gears are marked in many countries in the world. However, this process has yet to be put in to use in Turkey. The article aims to introduce marking of fishing gears let readers know the related practies, and create a discussion setting by proposing a number of recommendations pertaining to its feasibilities in Turkey.
