Türkiye'deki özel sağlık ve spor merkezlerinde çalışan personelin iş tatmin seviyeleri

Türkiye'deki özel sağlık ve spor merkezlerinde çalışan personelin katılımıyla gerçekleştirilen bu araştırma üç temel amacı gerçekleştirmek üzere tasarlanmıştır. Araştırmanın amaçlarından birincisi, bu merkezlerde çalışan personelin iş tatmin düzeylerini tespit etmek, diğeri çalışanların cinsiyet, eğitim ve günlük çalışma süresinin iş tatmin düzeyinde farklılık oluşturup oluşturmadığını saptamak ve üçüncü amaç çalışan personelin yaş ve iş deneyim seviyeleri ile iş tatmin düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkiyi araştırmaktır. Araştırmanın örneklem gurubunu bu tür bir araştırmaya gönüllü olarak katılmayı kabul ettiklerini beyan etmiş olan Ankara ve İstanbul'daki sağlık ve spor merkezlerinin personeli oluşturmuştur. Çalışma sadece müşteriye hizmet veren personel üzerinde uygulanmıştır. Katılımcıların yaş ortalamaları 26.25 ± 5.2'dir. Veri toplama yöntemi olarak anket yöntemi uygulanmıştır. Katılımcılara iki bölümden oluşan Minnesota İş Tatmin Endeksi uygulanmıştır. İlk bölüm kişisel bilgi toplamak amacı ile hazırlanmış sorulardan oluşmaktadır. İkinci bölüm ise iş tatmininin içsel etkenlerini değerlendiren 11 ve iş tatminini etkileyen dışsal etkenleri değerlendiren 9 sorudan oluşmaktadır. Kişisel verilerin analizinde tanımlayıcı istatistik ve bağımsız değişkenlerin çalışanların iş tatmin düzeylerinde farklılık oluşturup oluşturmadığını tespit etmek için MANOVA ve farklılıkları oluşturan gurupların tespiti için Bonferroni HSD testi kullanılmıştır. Yaş ile iş tatmin seviyesi arasındaki ilişki ve iş deneyimi ile iş tatmin seviyesi arasındaki ilişki düzeyini tespit etmek için Pearson korelasyon testi uygulanmıştır. Job satisfaction levels of the personnel among the selected private health care and fitness centers in Turkey

The research conducted on the personnel working in the private health care and fitness centers in Turkey, aimed to determine the job satisfaction levels of the personnel working in these centers, to identify if gender, education, and working shift differences had any impact on the job satisfaction levels of the personnel and to state age and job experience variables relationship with personnel job satisfaction levels. Study was conducted on the subjects working in the health care and fitness centers in Ankara and Istanbul, which accepted to participate in such a survey after a phone contact. The subject group consisted of 162 front-line personnel, who were directly in interaction with the customers. The mean age of the subjects was 26.25 ±5.21. Each subject was provided with a self-administered questionnaire. Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire (MSQ) was used as data collection instrument, which consisted of two parts; a) items asking for demographic information, b) 20 items composed of extrinsic and intrinsic job facets; 11 of the items were related with the intrinsic aspects of job satisfaction and 9 of them related with the extrinsic aspects of job satisfaction. In the statistical analysis, descriptive statistics was used for demographics and MANOVA were used to assess the job satisfaction level differences of the subjects according to their demographic variables and Bonfer-roni test was used to identify the difference causing group. Pearson correlation test was applied to define if any relationship existed between age and job satisfaction level, and between experience and job satisfaction level.
