Sanat sergileyen sporcular olarak dansçılar: klasik bale dansçılarının fiziksel uygunluk bileşenleri

Klasik bale, vücut yoluyla sergilenen artistik bir anlatımdır ve bir takım fiziksel uygunluk gereksinimlerine sahip olunması gereken bir etkinliktir. Bu gereksinimlerin yerine getirilmesi ve dansçının kariyerinin gelişimi ya da ilerlemesi spor bilimlerinin araçlarına başvurularak sağlanabilir. Çünkü dansçının aerobik dayanıklılığının gelişimi için yalnızca bale sınıf eğitimi, provalar ya da sahne performansının yeterli olmadığı, yapılan araştırmalar sonucunda ortaya çıkmıştır. Dansçıların kas kuvveti değerleri, vücut yağ yüzdesi ve vücut ağırlıklarının ortalama değerden düşük olduğu ortaya çıkmakla birlikte bale dansçılarının beslenme bozukluklarının ortaya çıkışında yüksek risk grubunu oluşturduğunu söylemek mümkündür. Ortaya çıkan bu sonuçlar doğrultusunda bu araştırmanın amacı, profesyonel klasik bale dansçılarını “sahnede sanat sergileyen sporcular” olarak değerlendirmek ve dans performansı için spor bilimlerinden yararlanmanın önemini ortaya koymaktır. Bu doğrultuda, klasik bale dansçılarında optimal performansla ilgili fiziksel uygunluk bileşenleri üzerine yapılmış olan araştırmalar incelenerek var olan sonuçların derlenmesi amaçlanmıştır.

Fitness related parameters of classical ballet dancers as athletes performing art: a brief review

Classical ballet is an artistic expression through the use of the body and it has some demands of physical fitness. Meeting these demands and also extending and improving dancer’s career are provided by simply applying sports science principles. Because recent data on dancers revealed that classical ballet training, rehearsal and stage performance are not enough for the result in increased aerobic endurance. Dancers have weaknesses for the average range of strength and also have low body weights, low percentage body fat which may lead to eating disorders, so it is possible to say that dancers are at a high risk of developing eating disorders. The main purpose of this brief review through considering these results is to evaluate dancers as “performing athletes on the stage” and to put forth the importance of benefiting from sport sciences principles for the dance performance. So, this study aims to examine the more recent studies on physical fitness components relate to dance performance, in particular classical ballet.
