Çevresel sorunlar özellikle yirminci yüzyılın son çeyreğiyle birlikte küresel boyutlara ulaşmıştır. Çevresel sorunların küreselleşmesinin en önemli göstergeleri ozon tabakasındaki incelme ve sera etkisi sonucu oluşan küresel ısınmadır. Küresel ısınma dünyamızı ve dolayısıyla da insanoğlunun geleceğini tehdit eden en önemli sorunlardan birisi durumuna gelmiştir. Bu makalede, hem nedenleri itibariyle, hem de sonuçları itibariyle toplumsal sorunlar olan küresel çevresel sorunların geldiği aşama irdelenecektir.

Environmental problems have become global problems specially for the last quarter of the twentieth century. The most significant indicator of the global environmental problems is global warming, as a result of ozone layer depletion and green house effect. Global warming has become the most threatening problems of the globe and the human being. The latest stage of the global environmental problems are being accounted as societal problems in this paper.
