Bu çalışmada tavuk gübresi (TG), odun külü (KL), kireç (KR) ve tavuk gübresi+odun külünün (TG+KL) ağırlıkça eşit oranlardaki karışımlarının asit reaksiyonlu bir toprağın bazı fiziksel ve kimyasal özelliklerine etkileri 70 günlük sera çalışmasında belirlenmiştir. Sera denemesinde fırın kuru ağırlık esasına göre 2500 g toprak doldurulan saksılara; kontrol (K), TG; 20, 40 ve 80 g saksı-1, KL; 2.5, 5 ve 10 g saksı-1, TG+KL (1:1 g/g) 5, 10 ve 20 g saksı-1 ve KR 2, 4 ve 6 g saksı-1 uygulamaları yapılmıştır. Kontrol ile kıyaslandığında tüm uygulamalarda toprak pH’sı yükselmesine rağmen, toprak pH’sını artırmada en etkili uygulamaların KL’nin 2.5 ve 5 g saksı-1dozları, TG+KL’nin 10 g saksı-1’lık dozu ve KR’nin 5 g saksı-1 dozu olmuştur. Bu uygulamalar toprak pH’sını 5.30’dan 6.5-7 aralığına yükseltmiştir. TG uygulamaları diğer uygulamalar ile kıyaslandığında agregat stabilitesi ve tarla kapasitesi su içeriğini daha fazla artırmıştır. Diğer taraftan TG’nin 80 g saksı-1’lık uygulama dozu elektriki iletkenlik (EC) değeri kontrole göre %241 oranında yükseltmiştir. Hem toprak pH’sını istenen seviyeye getirmesi ve hem de toprağa organik madde kazandırmasından dolayı asit reaksiyonlu bir toprağın ıslahında TG+KL karışımları önerilmiştir.

The objective of this study was to determine the effect of poultry manure (PM), wood ash (WA), PM+WA (ration of 1:1 w/w) and lime (L) applications on the some physical and chemical properties of an acid soil under greenhouse condition after 70 days. The treatments in greenhouse experiment consisted of control (C), the doses of 20, 40 and 80 g pot-1 of PM; the doses of 2.5, 5.0 and 10.0 g pot-1 of WA; the doses of 5, 10 and 20 g pot-1 of PM+WA mixture (1/1; w/w) and the doses of 2, 4 and 6 g pot-1 of L. Although, the soil pH values were increased by the all treatments compare with the control, the most positive impact on soil pH values was observed in the applications of 2.5 and 5.0 g pot-1 of WA, 10 g pot-1 of PM+WA and 2 g pot-1 of L. These applications had increased the soil pH from 5.30 to a range of 6.5-7. The additions of PM produced higher soil aggregate stability and field capacity water content compare with the other treatments. Otherwise, EC value was increased by 241% with the application 80 g pot-1 of PM. Due to both bringing the soil pH value to the desired level and providing organic matter, mixtures of PM + WA have been proposed for the amelioration of an acid-reactive soil.
