Göstergebilimsel okuma metodu, edebiyattan sanata, mimariye; radyo-televizyondan sinema ve tiyatroya; hatta söyleme kadar uzanan bir alan haline gelmiştir. Bilindiği gibi temelleri Saussure'le atılmış olmasına rağmen antik çağlardan beri insanoğlunun ilgisini çekmiştir. Barthes ve Gremmas’ın katkılarıyla özellikle Barthes'in bu alanı görsele kaydırmasıyla sürekli olarak gelişmekte olan bir yapı sergilemiştir. Göstergebilimciler arasında kesinleşmiş herhangi bir ortak metot olmadığından oldukça karmaşık bir o kadar da dikkat çeken bir sistem olarak görünmektedir. Bu bildiride anlambilimsel izlekler ışığında Gremmas’ın eyleyenler modeli de göz önüne alınarak Dülger Balığının Ölümü adlı öykü incelenmeye çalışılacaktır. Bu öykünün seçilmesinde amaç; öykünün katmanlı yapısından doğan örtük anlamları belirlemek ve eyleyenler şemasını metne uygulamaktır

The method of semiological reading has become a widely used method at from literature to art, architecture; radio and television cinema and theater an even at speech. As known its’ roots have been started with Saussure, it have been attracted the attention of mankind since antique times. With the contributions of Barthes and Gremmas, even Barthes exhibited a structure that was constantly evolving with the shift of the view. Since there is no definite unique common method among the semiotics, it seems to be a very complicated and remarkable system. In this report, considering the model of Gremmas in the light of semantic traces, the story called Death of Dulger's Fish(Dulger Balığının Ölümü) will be tried to be examined. The purpose of this selection of this story was; to determine implicit meanings arising from the layered structure of the story, and to implement the schema of the actors to the text
