Bu çalışma, bilimsel süreç becerilerinin, 10. ve 11. sınıf kimya ders kitaplarında ve kimya müfredatında ne kadar yer aldığını tespit etmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmada; 10. ve 11. sınıf kimya ders kitabında yer alan konular bilimsel süreç becerileri açısından içerik analizi yöntemiyle tek tek ele alınmış ve konuların hangi bilimsel süreç becerisini temel aldığı ortaya konmuştur. Ders kitapları için yapılan işlem 10. ve 11. sınıf kimya müfredatı için de yapılmıştır. Müfredatın içeriğini oluşturan konular bilimsel süreç becerileri açısından incelenmiştir. Araştırma bulgularından elde edilen sonuçlara göre; bilimsel süreç becerileri açısından incelenen kimya ders kitaplarının, kimya müfredatlarına tam olarak uygunluk göstermediği sonucuna varılmıştır. 

This study has been conducted to identify how much space has been allocated to the science process skills in the chemistry textbooks and curriculums for grades 10 and 11. For this purpose, content analysis technique has been used by means of cross-checking the chemistry textbooks for grades ten and eleven with the curriculum for the same grades and the results of this analysis have been conveyed. According to the results obtained through research findings, it has been concluded that the chemistry textbooks, which have been scrutinized in terms of the science process skills, do not fully overlap with the chemistry curriculum.
