Spinal mesafe olu~umu konusunda iki grup arasmdaistatistiksel olarak anlamll bir farka rastlanmadl.Sonur; olarak; gure$ sporunun gure$c;ilerde boyun omur/aTim etkiledigi, dejeneratif bozukluklara sebep olduguve gerek/i tedbirler almmadlgl takdirde u;:un surede bu sporun gure~c;ilere zarar verdig; soylenebilir.Anahtar Ke/ime/er: Omurga, Gure$r;i sakatllk/an, EgzersizSUMMARYIn this study, axs becoming smooth, intervertebrate space, vertebrate high, degeneration and spinal spaceradiographies of the wrestler neck vertebra have been analysed and have been compared with control groups.Wrestlers who were wrestling for sportive clubs or individually and ranked in Turkey and Europe and agematchedsedantery subjects were involved in this study. Lateral cervical graphies of subjects were obtained atneutral, at flexion and extention position. Graphies were obtained using General Electrics X-ray apparatus.Statistical analysis were performed using SPSS for Windows. Chi-square test was used for comparison ofgroups age, sportive age and degenerative changes in vertebral structure. p<0.05 was considered to bestatistically significant.Maximum pathologies which were observed in wrestlers are axs smoothing (%46), intervertebrate space(% 16). vertebrate high (% 10) and degenerative (%22). However in control groups, the pathological findingshas been found that axs smoothing (%2,0), intervertebrate space (%2,0) and degenerative (%2,0) and it hasnot been that vertebrate high and spinal space,T.here was no significant difference between the groups with respect to spinal space (p>0.05).Axs smothing, disc narrowing degeneration and thickness have been fand out more frequently in wrestlers,whife hernia has been found out more frequently in control groups. As to the matters of compression andosteofit, no statistical distinction has beer! found out.Key words: Spinal column, Wrestler injuries, Exercise
