Bu araştırmanın amacı, Doğu Anadolu Bölgesi'ndeki il merkezlerinde bulunan ilköğretim veortaöğretim okullarında beden eğitimi dersi için gereken tesis araç-gereç durumları ile öğrencilerinbeden eğitimi dersine ilişkin tutumları arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemektir. Araştırmanın evrenini, 2008-2009 eğitim-öğretim yılında Doğu Anadolu Bölgesi'nde faaliyet gösteren 522 ilköğretim veortaöğretim okulu ve bu okullarda öğrenim gören 216000 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanınörneklemini ise Doğu Anadolu Bölgesi'nde bulunan (Ağrı, Erzincan, Ardahan, Bingöl, Elazığ, Muş,Malatya, Erzurum, Kars, Iğdır) illerin şehir merkezlerinde bulunan 277 ilköğretim ve ortaöğretimokulu ve bu okullarda öğrenim gören 5825 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada verilerintoplanmasında iki farklı veri toplama aracından yararlanılmıştır. Bunlar; beden eğitimi dersine karşıntutum anketi ve okul araç gereç belirleme formudur. Bu gruplara uygulanan anketlerden oluşanveriler SPSS for Windows 12.00 istatistik programında değerlendirilmiştir. İstatistiksel işlem olarak"Ki-kare, Pearson Momentler Çarpımı, Korelasyon, Tek Yönlü Varyans, LSD Post Hoc Testi"analizlerini kullanılmıştır. Verilerin istatistiksel analizi ve yorumlarında p=0.05 anlamlılık düzeyidikkate alınmıştır. Araştırmada; il merkezlerindeki okullarda spor malzemelerinin ve spor salonlarınınyetersiz olduğu, buna rağmen bölgenin sosyo-kültürel şartları göz önüne alındığında beden eğitimi vespor derslerine öğrencilerin tutumlarının ve kız öğrencilerin katılımının yüksek olduğugözlemlenmiştir.Anahtar Kelimeler: Beden Eğitimi, Doğu Anadolu Bölgesi, Öğrenci Tutumları.ABSTRACTIt has been aimed to examine the relation between facilities and equipments for the course ofphysical education and sports and students' attitudes towards the course primary and secondaryschools in eastern anatolia. The universe of the survey consists of 522 physical education teacherswho work at primary and secondary schools in Eastern Anatolian city-centers in 2008-2009 and216.000 students in these schools. The sampling of the survey includes schools (277) and students(5825) at the schools in Eastern Anatolian city-centers (Ağrı, Erzincan, Ardahan, Bingöl, Elazığ, Muş,Malatya, Erzurum, Kars, Iğdır). It has been benefited from three different data gatheringinstruments for the acquisiton of the data. These instuments are the form of designation of teachersproblems, the questionnare of attitude toward physical education lesson, and the form of designationof school equipments. The data obtained from questionnares applied on the groups has been evaluatedby SPSS for Windows statistic programme. Statistical test were used analysis of chi-square, one-wayvariance, the test of LSD Post Hoc. The significance level of p=0.05 is taken into consideration duringthe statistical analysis and interpretation of the data. According to results of the study: the schools inthe city-centers had insufficient sport equipments and gyms, although there was unfavourable socioculturalconditio it has been observed that the students have a higher level of ambition fort he coursemoreover female students attended the course of a high percentage.Key Words : Physical Education, Eastern Anatolian Region, Student's attitudes.
