Çelik Dökümde Alternatif Gaz Giderme Malzemesi Olarak Alüminyum Cürufu Kullanımının İncelenmesi

Döküm artığı olan aluminyum (Al) cürufunun, çelik döküm işlemlerinde gaz giderici olarak kullanılan Al-Ca-Mg alaşımı yerine kullanılabilirliği bu çalışmada araştırılmıştır. Bu cüruf hiçbir saflaştırma (arıtma, temizleme) işlemine tabi tutulmamış ve aynı zamanda ekonomik değeri de yoktur.  Numuneler, GS-52 çelik malzeme kullanılarak reçineli kum kalıba döküm yöntemiyle üretilmiştir. Döküm numunelerde gaz giderme işlemleri, ağırlıkça %0,035 oranında Al-Ca-Mg ve aluminyum cürufu kullanılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu numunelerle karşılaştırma amacıyla gaz giderilmemiş numune de üretilmiştir.  Bu çalışma sonuçları, AlCaMg alaşımı yerine özellikle Al cürufunun gaz (oksijen) giderme için kullanılabileceğini göstermiştir.

Investigation Of Using Of Aluminum Dross As An Alternative Gas Removing Material In Steel Casting

The use of aluminium (Al) dross with casting residue instead of Al-Ca-Mg alloy used as degasser in steel casting processes was investigated in this study. This dross has not been subjected to any purification (purification, cleaning) process and also has no economic value. Samples were produced by GS-52 steel material using resin sand casting. The degassing processes in the casting samples were carried out by using 0.035% by weight Al-Ca-Mg and aluminum dross. For comparison with these samples, a non-degassed sample was also produced. The results of this study showed that, instead of the AlCaMg alloy, Al-dross could be used for gas (oxygen) removal.
